You have definitely come out of the gate strongly into the world of mixed media. And you should be super proud of that wolf. Amazing! I did not know the difference in white paint 😲😲

Thank you. It was crazy fun. Life is too serious. Jobs are too stressful and there are way too many expensive bills these days. It's fun to just forget it all and basically throw paint at a canvas, with no real outcome in mind. It is very freeing. For the longest time, I was probably scared of doing all of that. But you realise it doesn't matter. What ever goes wrong can be fixed. It really helps me enjoy the moment more, knowing there are no rules. They say zinc is for mixing, but I almost always just use titanium. I found when I did my blackboard piece a few months back that the titanium would dull the colours too much as it's so opaque though. I guess that's when you use the zinc.

Wow! This turned out soooo awesome. I love watching your process throughout the painting & seeing all the different things you used for all the different textures. Super creative. Absolutely love the wolf, one of my favorite animals 💜

It's really satisfying to use that paint and see the results. It came out so well for my little attempt. Interesting thing with that paint, it's the only paint that dried on my wet palette (after a couple of days). I wonder what's in it that makes it so unique.

It looks amazing! I loved watching you paint and hearing about your process. I never would have guessed you’re new to acrylics, the wolf looks so realistic! 😍 I think I’m going to grab those paintbrushes. I’m always on the lookout for new detail brushes.

Thanks so much ❤️ I love those brushes. TenHun recommended them in a video he did late last year. I always see his beautiful clean lines, and wanted them. They're so cheap too. I wouldn't mind a spare set.

I love that you're using a round canvas, that's so cool!! mixed media can get a little chaotic sometimes but be the most fun, that being said, getting the shoe out like that is pretty crazy hahah 😂

Haha yeah it was a little crazy. I see others use the most awesome and yet random things for these pieces. I didn't have a lot available that I wanted to cover in paint, but the shoe did add some good texture and chaos 😂 I had like 3 of these round wood canvases in my cupboard, just sitting there for a couple of years, not doing anything. They're actually really nice, and I need to do something with all of them, instead of letting them collect dust. Thanks for watching ❤️

Thank you Shana ❤ It definitely didn't all go smoothly, but I wanted to be honest about it. I watch a lot of these kinds of videos myself, so I want people who try a product to know that others also might have some issues and hopefully it will save them some headaches themselves. Plus its always nice to remember that all paintings go through an ugly stage, and they can still come out well, if you don't give up.

@lozantoninocreations Absolutely! I think talking about challenges as they arise helps others to know that they aren't alone when they inevitably run into their own bumps in the road.
