Amaluna - Everyone can imagine the difficulty in balancing, the strength, picking up pieces with toes. What I really see is incredible mental strength. Imagine being on that stage in front of a crowd so quiet it seems mute but is breathless. Think of the strain and struggle to overcome to not make a single mistake that could cause it all to collapse. Unlike a tumbler maybe who could recover. I was in front row for a show and one of the tumblers hit wrong, but hopped right up and continued. Here, that is impossible.

This balancing act is one of the most magical things I have ever seen performed - I am in deep, deep awe!!! The simplicity of its elements makes it so much more impressive. Beautiful! Ephemeral! Transcendent! Since my first introduction to the Cirque du Soleil 1992 in Amsterdam with Saltimbanco, I try to see as many shows as I can. While attending Ovo in Hannover, Germany, I was so fortunate as to be picked to join the leading artists on stage for some minutes - I will never forget the thrill of it!!! Cirque du Soleil embodies the essence of what circus should be: reaching for the stars, striving for artistic excellence, giving the audience an unforgettable experience, and celebrating the joy of what the human body, mind, and imagination can achieve. Allez, mes chers, la fantaisie n'a aucune frontière! 💕

And I thought balancing a sword in dance was challenging, beautiful yes, however this young lady is amazing, a pleasure to witness, balanced, strong, graceful, focused, & sure!! Juggling is one of my favorite skills in its basic form. Add in the spin of the clubs with their spinning and whoa. Hard to do and very amazing. I love the classic juggle. I play around a bit. I can do three tennis balls standing on one leg. If i could ever get to diablo style with the balls I'd be happy. I am learning about european juggling which is interesting. I did just start with clubs so, watching this I'm over here all 😮wow! One of my favorite aspects of 🎪 , one that i adore more than anything, is how the masters teach the incoming generation. That's the life, and i love to see it here with his young assistants. Thnx4sharing.

Totally beyond mesmerising ... This has had me watch it over and over . I'm like the comedy character the old TV series ... He was called Frank Spencer ... Like him ,everything I do turns into a disaster ,so to watch this woman do this is fascinating to me . I watched it in complete awe . The first woman is really good, because the smallest piece is truly the most important. I have watched this done by other women and they use a feather, which is a bit more dramatic as an effect, but in actuality, the feather isn’t heavy enough to become the central focal point.

That first act was brilliantly intense. I could feel the severity the entire time, that would be horrifying to be controlling such a delicate balance with the weight of so many pressing down upon it. It's as though she was suspending our doubt and disbelief, keeping everything in balance... the muscle and nerve control to do this... I mean... woah.

I made a belt holder out of wood once as a little boy. It was curved and had a small slot in it. When the belt was placed in the slot, you could hold it with one finger while the whole thing balanced out a good 10 inches or so. Amazing.

I remember this act, but from an Asian woman, who started with just a feather, and when just taking the feather away, caused the collapse of the whole assembly. To think that the weight of a feather, was the difference, made it much more impressive.

The feather or the stick, no real difference. The equilibrium of the whole depends on the equilibrium of each as much as the stick or the feather do. It may present a visual sensation being a feather but, the feather was not holding any more than the sticks. There was feather like balancing being manifest in the sticks as well as the balance of the feather.
