As a Parent of one of the u14 boys team with academy seeing transformation in the team and Charlie from start of season to the end was amazing CLA does work more coaches need to look into this way of coaching

Hi Alex, here in Australia we also have the majority of untrained players in under 14s who sag off the ball inside the 3 point line. Ive trained my kids to leave no room, have hands over the ball and 1 in passing lane (usually where more passing options are) and to frustrate the offense into moving to get the ball.

I love this! This is so important. Pressure at younger coaches is key as it develops the principles of play defensively (containment, shading, recovery steps) etc that they need when older. Unfortunately too many youth coaches sag off as it wins games at youth, but loses games when these players become older
