Very true! Not all became hookers, drug addicts, or alcoholics it depends upon the strength of character and a willingness to push through the adversity and pain that was their horrific and twisted childhood. As a 63y/o survivor of sexual, physical, and mental abuse I was able to pull myself together and have enjoyed a blessed life, but sadly I know I’ll never forget those days. I believe therapy helped me and then raising a healthy family of four children actually gave me the childhood that I dreamt about when I was that scared little girl in so much pain. We are born transgender . My childhood did not influence me being transgender in anyway . As a parent the best thing you do is let your child be who they are and express themselves. If your child tells you they are transgender do not try to make them more masculine or get mad . Bring them to therapy and make sure they truly are and if this is what they need. If you support your child and let them transition younger they will not end up like this they will live a very normal life . I’m sure your child is not transgender but how you raise your child will not prevent them being trans or make them transgender , You are born trans end off . Just love and support your child no matter what ! I hope you and your child have a great life and you sound like a great mother I wish you the the best . :))))

Especially since adults try to shield us from sexual content so we are left to our own devices. Glad to see she’s...alive..? And the reason why it sounds like contradictory information is because for a long time (and probably even now) she wouldn’t be fully accepted by our community which has a pretty old school mindset, although the youth are clearly running the area. We grew up in church..youth choir to be exact together. And yes, at a VERY young age she was already cross dressing. And she’s saying “Chicago”, but it’s not Chicago proper, it’s actually considered one of the burbs of the city in Indiana. And yes, she was spoiled as a child...she may have been the youngest but I’m not sure if that. You all think spoiled is all materialistic, but her family definitely cares about her.
