Thank you very much for this video. This is the sort of stuff I wish my instructor had gone over. Can you do more videos that show complete grooms with particular scissors? There are several japanese grooming YT channels that somehow manage to groom samoyeds and chow chows with only straights and obtain smooth lines and no scissor marks. I would love more information like that.

Thank you for these informative video's. Do you have any video's on handstripping west highlanders and/or cairns? I find shaping the rolling coat a bit difficult sometimes
@TransgroomTV4 жыл бұрын
Hello Charlie! Thank you for watching! We do not have videos on those breeds, but we do have a series on putting a rolling coat in a Brussels Griffon's coat. We are also filming rolling coat grooming on a hard coated jack russel terrier. You can find the Brussels Griffon series here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b3XCap6GptaBd6c Kind regards

Great informative video! I have a Bichon Frise who is 11 weeks old today! I bought the Moontay scissors in 6 inch. (I’m a petite size lady) I have the straight scissors and the curved scissors. I need the blending scissors but don’t really know which ones to look at. I would love your opinion on the Name Brand of Moontay and which Blenders to purchase. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Hello , Thank you for your comment. We would recommend a Chuncker for a poochon. If he has the coattype. this will give you an effective and smoother finish . Please see on the links below to find the correct scissor . the scissor on the first link is a smaller one, than one the second URL . depending on what you prefer. Why are not to use for drop coats? The Underline for example or the ears, the head,the tail and,and,and. I use it every day at all coats.
@TransgroomTV4 жыл бұрын
Hallo Sabine , i Understand your comment, and if you have a thick drop coat, you can use it without any problems. but everybody has their own techniques and this video is for everybody, also the dog owners. They don't have the same knowledge as a dog groomers.
@Sabineemsland4 жыл бұрын
@@TransgroomTV Yes of course,it was not a critism. Everybody works different, with different technics. I use this scissors by fine coats also, my Show Dog Springers or Custumer Yorkis. Its interesting to hear another or different opinion and I ask me of course. Thanks, have a good night and also thanks for your great products you send us to Germany and your nice Services. I have a question. I can send Utsumi Scissor to you for sharpen?

I went to the website, but I cannot find how many teeth to purchase for my two shih tzus. I already bought thinners, but my dogs act like it's pulling their hair or something. Do I need chunkers or blending shears instead? Could this be happening because I'm left handed but using right handed scissors? Thank you in advance
@TransgroomTV3 жыл бұрын
Hello, first of all thank you for your message . It's a honor to help you . You need a Blender to scissor a shih-tsu coat . if your dogs had a really thick coat, you can use a chuncker . How more teeth your blending scissor had; how finer and smoother you can scissor . Please look at the link below for the perfect scissor: transgroom.com/en/products?search=yento+blender Kind regards

Hi , thank you so much for your feedback and question . It's not always about the Brand , it's more the quality of the steel . There are so many brands in this industry , but we can say , that the Quality of the Steel of the Yento scissors are very nice .

Why other thinning scissor can not cut.
@TransgroomTV4 жыл бұрын
Hello Diana, what do you mean exactly? A blending scissor does not cut all the hair off at once like a normal scissor. Kind regards
