Transhumanist Predictions and the Human Predicament (Edit)

The woman scientist at 23:19 talking about "current issues in augmenting our humanity with AI" Why? Could it be that we as humans already have everything we need to evolve without any kind of external or implanted technology and as long as we are healthy and awake; conscious beings doing the hard work of integrating the difficult aspects of ourselves, we will transcend our awkward adolescence as a species. If people want to choose augmentations, I have no problem with that as long as those who don't are not in some way penalized or prevented from accessing all that society has to offer. I do not believe whatever has created us, call it God/ Goddess/ The Tao/ Infinite Radiant Is has left anything out that AI needs to improve on.
