Transit continues to be disrupted in Brampton as strike by city workers continues

The walk out by city workers in Brampton is causing major problems for those who rely on public transit. Shauna Hunt with more on the strike that has ground bus service to a halt.

How are they allowed to block public Transit if the Buses are operated by people not on strike or in their Union ? Selfish pricks if this is the case. 1200 people refusing 9 months of offers from the City that won't let the PEOPLE take a bus to work to earn money. I dare anyone reading this to try and block a City Bus ANYWHERE and see what charges the Peel Police can give you.

The Brampton Transit official news is lying. I was standing in the wind for an hour, not a single Brampton bus passing by. I finally realized it all stops running. So I have to walk 3 km until my feet hurt so much and I can't no longer carry my stuff. I finally cave in to take Uber. I would say bravo to the city. I feel your pain.

CUPE staff should be paid equivalent to Toronto or Mississauga because they are similar sized cities. They shouldn’t be compared to Hamilton, Vaughan or London.

My brother in law use to work for the city of Brampton, and he would stop over to visit his brother, often, while on shift, and stay for several hours. He would smoke up and complain about lazy city workers.😂
