Love this video. Doing this same set up in my transit. On the device side, you use the black and the red dc cable. On your fuse box side, I only see the red cable. Where does the black cable go on the fuse side?

Black side is ground. I beleive I grounded to the body above the map light. Possibly on the roof support I installed. Either is fine.

Thank you so much! I couldn’t for the life of me make sense of the “just run it to a ground” concept until I happened upon a random explanation of how vehicles are designed to complete the DC circuit through the Chassis-engine-battery negative Loop. All made perfect sense after that. Was able to find some factory grounds around the fuse box because I had already run the black wires there. Basically just duplicated your old system. Went with the DC rv instead of the inverter/AC TV set up. Out of curiosity, any specific reason you went away from the DC TV set up?

We plugged into the 3.5mm stereo input jack. Also in the second video we installed a infrared headsets which allowed us to travel without listening to the movie

Would a Bluetooth audio transmitter work instead of a cable?

I suppose if the Bluetooth was compatible with sync and had a 3.5mm stereo input. What would be interesting is if you could find a tv with a bluetooth output that would talk to sync. I doubt that exist though

Boy did I get that wrong. That’s not a remote receiver cable. It’s an optical cable. The manual is kinda terrible
