Hi Ajay: Very interesting video. When you in the North East , forget about time. Everything moves pretty slowly, except in big cities. In Assamese, we say "lahe, lahe" . It means "slowly, slowly". By the way, the bus you looked at did say "Majuli" in Assamese. The "la" is probably the only letter that resembles the Hindi letter "la" , Assamese & Bengali have pretty similar scripts. I have traveled by ferry from Dibrugarh to Dhemaji in the late '80s. During the rainy season, the Brahmaputra is a sight to behold. It is more like a sea than a river.
