Transition Zone

The transition zone occurs at the point where cool season turfgrass adaptation is limited by high temperatures and warm season turfgrass adaptation is limited by cold temperatures. Turfgrass selection and management is especially important and difficult in this region.

I live in SW KY... Have Bermuda in my yard and haaaaaaaaaaate it. Spreads way too aggressively and takes over the flower beds. Next season I'm going to raze the lot of it, so trying to nail down a good grass type and brand.
