For the past few months I’ve been using standard black pasters on all of my dry fire targets (I typically only use 1/2-scale). I like the idea of reducing the number of targets with a visual aiming cue down to 1 or 2 per array. I’m almost definitely going to try the pencil trick to (hopefully) fight my near-constant impulse to get sucked into the dot. Thanks!

Yeah the hard part of visual discipline is making yourself pick a spot on a blank surface, so have a target with that assist in the mix (occasionally) can help you notice if you were doing it wrong otherwise.

Or you can mix two and have a dot in lines?

I suppose you could do that, I don’t know why you’d want any more of an assist than a spot though
