Wow I love this!! I am an English and German teacher & I think this is really thought provoking. It is sometimes really hard to keep my 3 languages apart & I randomly pull a word from another language 🤣 It’s amazing to see my bilingual daughter blossoming in her two mother tongues at the same time, often in the same sentence 🥰 Code switching for the win!

Is it like Spanglish? For Spanish speakers? In a bilingual classroom, I only use translanguage when Ss do research, but they report in English.
