Finally! I now understand why the thumbnail is so important. It's a step I generally skip, but now I see the power of it as it opens up so many possibilities.

Well Gail for me you hit the thumbnail on its head. Thank you for this happy and positive so demo, in which you so clearly explaned in how to translate your thumbnail scetch. As a beginner I enjoy listening to your demo's over and over again they give me the right guidance in how to keep on trying. I especially enjoy to Idea of using alimited palette. I would love to ask you more questions about pieces I have drawn. I Just do not know where to send to you. I did subscribe to your blog?
