1 Yonge-University - Mini-Documentary: York Mills Station

A brief description and history about York Mills Station, then a station tour. This is a requested video.
So this month, I sorta broke the rules regarding to the order of TTC stations I do monthly. But because two bus routes lead to Canada's Wonderland, why not do this stations. I am still going to upload Castle Frank Station before the end of the month.

York Mills was my very 1st station to catch the TTC subway train to Union on the Yonge-University line. My dad's friends family took us since there was a carpark he was able to park.

York Mills is usually a station where I catch the 60 Canada's Wonderland (GO Transit). But I actually used to live in that neighbourhood. It was pretty good and convenient. It's sad that they had to change the wall tiles back in 2014-15.

no, Is lorance station. yorkmills is deep but only has 4 areas to enter the station but the long stairs at the south end looks like lorance because it is the same layout

Building the underground bus terminal was a big mistake. There is very little room for buses to manuver around. Had it be above ground, there would be more room, which means the TTC would be able to operate LFS Artics on the very crouded 95/95E and 96 bus routes.

no it's not a mistake. if the busses where outside, people would get wet in the rain and get hert with ice pellits in the winter. It was a good idea to have the plat forms underground. 122 graden hall cold water road and lessly street.

yess the hallway leading to the elevators to the buss level is pretty windy. I almost lost my hat in the wind do to the draff from the escaleators and the smell of diesle from busses waiting and searching for a loading spot or resting.
