Hey what's up, for the transmission, did you use the same pump you used for the Diff? Also, did you fill until it dribbled out?

What’s up yes I used the same vacuum mechanism to fill the transmission until it drains out. I also compared how much fluid came out it was roughly 1.5 quarts.

@@v2drew Awesome! Did you replace the filter as well? I am coming up on 80k on mine, I know it's time to change the diff and trans fluid. I was told to fill the trans all the way up, then turn the car on to allow the trans to get up to operating temp, then pump more until it dribbles out again.....idk if this is right. Great video, I'm going to use it as a guide to change the fluids. Any particular reason you stuck with the OEM fluid and not a "High Performance" fluid?

@@TopFlightWR now that u mention it I did that exact method. Filled it up till it came out. Ran car to operating temps and then the filled it till it comes out again. There’s a reservoir in the trans that gets filled as u drive it which means when u come back too it off. I haven’t changed the trans filter only oil filter every 2k miles

@@TopFlightWR as far as the fluid I was told oem is always the best way to go for fluids but if you’ve done research and the high performance stays cooler than I would say go for it. I find the temps getting toasty after a couple runs on the car so I’m looking into a trans cooler aftermarket hope this helps
