This sounds like the background ambience of some creepy underground computer/server facility. Incredible! Very immersive

I love this kind of glitchy experimental stuff!

I admire all the people who dare to go out of their comfort zone... those who don't give up, those who are authentic... And what your creations reflect, prove it. 🙌🖤

Thanks Hessence! Really appreciate it

I think its healthy to sometimes if not often go in without a plan, see what happens, refine it a bit and then record it just in case others like it. Here I love the juxtaposition of the bass drone with the higher pitched descending line :)

Totally agree. Thanks for listening!

would love to see a patch from scratch on a sound like this one. its what I usually look to achieve but somewhere between melodic as well.

This is an example of that sweet spot exists between tonal/musical structure and atonal/noisy generative music.

Question brother, what is your process with mixing/mastering for Eurorack?
@habnmusic Жыл бұрын
It depends, the process changes for each song but I tend to use always the same tools which are eq, dynamic eq, multiband compression and limiting. Sometimes saturation and mid/side processing but less often. I usually work in a substractive way, controlling peaks, taming harsh or too resonant frequencies...that kind of work, until I achieve the sound I'm looking for. Also I find gain staging key. I mix and 'master' at the same time if the song is for youtube, but for albums, EPs and so I leave the mastering part to a professional.

What are you sequencing the tones from, anything?
@habnmusic Жыл бұрын
It's been a while but when I had this system I always used Clank Chaos for sequencing and creating melodies. Also Pams but not in this case. So here I think I'm using Chaos + Quadrax for creating different envelopes and sequenced modulation.
