This could've been such a good video if the instructor didn't mumble/rattle his words and then dance in front of the projector the whole time

Sir I'm not sure how to message on here, but if I figure it out and give you my E-mail could you possibly send me a copy of the "Idle Pressures" chart?(1:23) or share a link for it here? It would be a useful tool to keep and memorize. Hope I'm not asking too much. It's valuable information, would definitely appreciate it. I can't seem to find one as good as that anywhere, although I suppose I could remake it myself too. Thank you for this video. A great help. Taking my final exam A2 tomorrow, if I pass I'm finally a Master. Wish me luck! Thanks again.

Hi I have 0 epc pressure when I have 70-100 psi on line pressure on my windstar. the problem is it doesn't go past 2nd gear and I don't have any codes.

Hey Mr. Richard how are you? Whats the diffrence between EPC and LINE pressure? Thank you!
@brenterwin83897 жыл бұрын
if your talking about the electronic pressure control solenoid it effects line pressure just like a vacuum modulator on a older car it changes pressure based on load and the only difference from the older design is its electronic instead of mechanical

@@brenterwin8389 epc pressure is used to control line pressure,,by moving the main pressure regulator valve
@McCuistian2 жыл бұрын
All those pressures are low - you have an internal transmission leak or a problem with the pressure control

Thanks for the video! My automatic transmission MB 722.103 loses pressure at times. I raise the revs to 3000rpm and the pressure comes back. What are the components that can cause this problem? Vaccum Cell or principal pump?
@McCuistian Жыл бұрын
Not familiar with that one but I'd be checking fluid level before anything else.

Hello Mr Richard. Could you please explain how a cooler line leaks coolant into a transmission? I read somewhere that the cooling system pressure is higher than the transmission cooler line pressure, which forces the coolant into the transmission. I would greatly appreciate your answer.
@McCuistian4 жыл бұрын
Ostensibly, it's not possible, because the transmission cooler pressure is higher - however, when the engine is shut off, the transmission line pressure dies - but the cooling system pressure remains high - that would enable coolant to migrate from the cooling system to the transmission.

Hello I have 4l60e slipping on 2 n 3 n 4 gears R n 1 working good today I put a gauge on the line pressure I have 65 psi on all the gears just the reverse after 3 sec have 100 psi 1 2 n 3 n 5 have 65 66 64 psi I drive with 4000 rpm same pressure Nothing change What you think

Hi biddy thank you for great content as always..... Out STANDING PERFORMANCE!!!!!! So why is pressure always higher in reverse and why is stall speed lower in reverse.. If you have time for a good explanation i would really appreciate it.... Thanks again
