I’ve listened to this set literally over 250 times and it never gets old. I started listening to trance in 1997 but didn’t really get into it until Gouryella blessed my ears in 1999. I’ve had the privilege and honor of seeing Ferry so many times including a few times where he actually dropped some Gouryella masterpieces (mind you this was from 2004-2011 when Gouryella as we knew it was “dead” for some time, before the rebirth in 2015). I need to store my original signed Gouryella CD singles (Gouryella, Walhalla) in plexiglass - they will literally be remembered as significant historical artifacts in years to come. I fucking love trance and Ferry/Gouryella is a HUGE reason why!

Great post. I've only seen Ferry twice - Cream Amnesia in 2009 when he played most of "Twice in a Blue Moon" - phenomenal set and phenomenal night (the Mitsubishis were insane) but we didn't get any Gouryella; and once at Space in about 2015 when he looked like he didn't want to be there. Played an amazing trance version of the theme from "Oblivion" but not a lot else that seemed much good. This was just before he brought Gouryella back to life and all the magic that followed. Love him.
