The accessibility of supports and services within non-profit and frontline agencies can often be unsafe and/or non-transinclusive. In this session, discussants from Edmonton-based 2SLGBTQIA+reflect advocacy organization RaricaNOW! on how transphobia and cisnormativity show up in frontline agencies, share their experiences of accessing services, and reflect on ways in which organizations may unknowingly create barriers and harm to the trans community. The session also provides insight and thoughts on how organizations can transition their efforts to better support and serve their clients.
