Transplanting a maple tree

Digging up a maple tree with kubota u-17 excavator.
And moving it to another spot on the farm.

Troy Larson yes... but I just lost the tree in a big wind we just had.

Steve Veenstra Yes it did. I transplanted in the winter months. But you really need to take care not to break the bigger roots. Once you replant it the prune it back about 30% and give it some good liquid fertiliser and it should come good. Good luck with it.
