One thing i missed on this game was the lack of small planes in modern time, the only available is the Short 330, they should have implemented something like an ATR42 or an Embraer 120

I was thinking the same thing as i was making the video... It's an abrupt stop on small planes quite early, yet small airplanes do plenty of shorter/less populated routes in modern times too!

Although I do like the addition of dual-purpose aircraft, I am surprised the Concorde wasn't present, nor are many modern airplanes that are the size of the Dornier Merkur

Nice variety of planes in TF2 which is good to see, especially the addition of Cargo planes, something missing from unmodded TF1

They need to add larger planes, mainly the 767-300, 777-200, 747 (all variants), A300-600, DC-10/MD-11, 707-320/B, and A330-200 (they all have cargo variants). If the biggest plane is a 752, theres a problem lol.

I agree, but i feel it is somewhat the same "issue" as with hugh container ships and the like. The maps might not be large enough for it to be viable transport option? - but on a sandbox type adventure that doesnt matter much of course. Lets hope a couple modders out there make a some mods! :D

@@CompletelyAverageGaming In TPF1 the modders made a 747, so things should be fine. The thing I'm the most annoyed with is the fact the towns stay rather small

Many people are talking about how Alot of Long range planes are missing, but i think the map is too small for them

Video length (and time on each aircraft) is fine. Great timings with the cuts. Where is the 747 too! Especially the freighter version. Also I think the pax numbers they can carry are way too low and unrealistic. Understand there may be game balancing issues but seems weird having some larger aircraft carrying next to no passengers.

This is consistent amongst all vehicle types. (except maybe some road vehicles).The TF series models the behaviour of every single 'person': Where they work, live, and shop, and how they get there, depending on the transport options on offer etc. It's not realistic to have a map with hundreds of thousands of these people. To keep things interesting, and allow the creations of many lines, vehicles thus have significantly fewer 'seats' than IRL, cities have lower populations, buildings fewer inhabitants, etc. In TF1 this meant that the 'cities' looked more like small villages, but I'm happy to say that in TF2 they have fixed this, by having larger buildings for the same amount of people. At a glance, a TF city of 1000 people looks like it has more than 10 times that number.

What's the in-game difference between small and large aircraft? Is it like the first game where you can operate any aircraft out of any airport, or are you required to upgrade later on for larger aircraft?

To be honest, disappointed with nonexistence of Soviet cargo planes. No IL-76, not a single An-22/24/32, no An-124 and no An-225
