Transport Fever 2 | The Piddlemouth Coast | Episode 23

Hello and welcome back to Transport Fever 2!
Our freight operation is working nicely! The first coal train is about to make delivery at the Steel Mill, and hopefully soon we'll start some goods production to the nearby towns. However one problem is starting to rear its ugly head!
Great Mudton station was never designed to have this much traffic through it, with me building the freight terminal on the end of the passenger platforms, it seems we're unable to expand it any more. We're going to have to optimise the fly overs/dive unders to keep the freight traffic away from the express passenger traffic!
We're also going to be planning a new express line! Exciting stuff!

Can you like make the money prefix have the pound sterling? How to do it: Step one: Locate 'settings.lua' for TPF2. Step 2: Scroll down to 'money prefix' (near the bottom) Step 3: Replace '$' with '£' Step 4: Select 'File' and save. Step 5: Your cash will display GBP instead of USD/AUD

Joe I have just the idea for you, You should dedicate an electric line for your trains which is high-speed . isn't that a great idea you should definitely try it for us ,please!

Your using 4 car trains on the North Kilttown - Piddlemouth service so you could run 180's on that service?

I think you could throw some 180+220 units on the Transmap regional with a mix of HSTs. You could also mix the HST carriages with Merlin and Swallow, like the locomotive is Merlin and carriages are swallow etc. Edit: I have realised that the 180 and 220 do not share the same liveries. Maybe add 180 + 180 with one being First Dynamic Lines and one being First Cooperate/Barbie.

Because the class 180 Carries 125 and is too long for most platforms, you’ll be going nowhere

bought transport fever during the winter sale and i’m really enjoying it. have you ever considered electrifying part of the route? not with 3rd rail, obviously but with catenary. Would be interesting at provide some variety to all the diesel currently on the line. Another great video though!

Sections of the High Speed lines would be good. Put a few 225s on there. Then it's like the ECML and is prepared for 800s and the like
