Hi Dr Grayson. Thanks for the video. The key point here was the constraint sign when supply is not in balance with demand; thanks for pointing that out. I tested a few different methods: I tried the limited arc list (12 values) and found the optimal solution; I plotted all 49 arcs (in an array) with a unit cost of $1M for the prohibited ones and found the optimal solution; however when I used a matrix (changing cells: Origin-Destination in a matrix format), I could not find the optimal solution; I was wondering why that may be. Thanks

Can this example apply to a minimum cost flow problem for output and demand between Plants, Warehouses and Retailer?

Thank you very much Professor Jim Grayson for your lesson, it's very fascinating. Perhaps just a minor correction for the Named Ranges: "To" should be E6:E16 and "Cost" should be G6:G16. Thank you.
