One of the last recordings I have of my late wife was Christmas Eve 2019, this song was playing on tv and my wife’s voice called out to our daughter from our bedroom to tell her she had a present for her. growing up, this piece has always been one of my favorites. i have so many memories of sitting on the couch with my dad as a little girl and just watching our trans siberian dvd. my freshman year, i had the honor of playing canon in d as our final impact of my schools marching band show. that was also the year that my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma, and i knew my time with him was limited. i still cannot erase the feeling i had during the last performance of mine that he ever got to watch. playing the final chords of canon in d at grand nationals was such an overwhelming feeling that i will never forget. sorry for the depressing comment, i just thought id share how much of an impact music really has on our lives.

Last year my grandpa whom I was close to past away just before Christmas. I spent almost every Christmas with him in my 35 years. It was especially hard losing him right before Christmas when Christmas reminds me so much of him. As I was driving around delivering Christmas gifts the day he passed away I was trying my best to hold back tears. This song came on and now it reminds me of him. ❤ Yesterday was his first birthday not here. Miss you grandpa.

This is one of my favorite groups ever. I lost my baby sis Nov. 4th, 2018 due to brest cancer I wasnt told about. Her husband told me 6 days later after she was cremated.
