That was my job for a few nights. And as a massive Halloween and horror fan, it, was, AWESOME.

I pictured myself in my own haunted house and would just wander. And there would be very weird sounds I'd have to check out. Some easily accredited to air being released etc and others voices that didn't make sense. Lots of dark energies. It was a beautiful experience.

Man, what I wouldn't give to have one of these conventions in my area. The nearest city that hosts any type of haunter's expo, comic-con, or large themed event like this would be either a 7 or 8 hour drive away. I guess that's just one of the down sides of living way out in the sticks!

In my neck of the woods, these displays would be stolen the first night they were displayed. I used to have a little skeleton dude dressed in convict stripes who would say funny things, when someone approached the door, then scream and his tongue would stick out and waggle. That lasted one Halloween night, and was stolen. Someone came to the door, saw it, and took it. Poor skeletony dude.
