Great tour dc were going so hard Why kalis was not been pushed harder at this stage Is beyond me.. it was like dc was sceptical of the lil Skate rat coz he was going hard at this time

Douglas Wares Maybe I'm confused about when his first shoe came out, but my statement still stands. Kalis was a bonafide pro and all the major companies he was on were pushing him as hard as they could. If you were around at that time you surely remember. I was 16 in '97 and an absolute skate nerd and I can tell you: he was not underground. He was one of the hottest street skaters and pretty much Alien Wokshop's poster boy. I'd say the Kalis-mania was peaking around '98 or '99 when he had his part in sixth sense and appeared in Stevie Williams' part in the reason. Man, those were the days...
