As far as otter...a wire coyote stretcher with just a piece of cardboard being held in place by the hooks works very well.

You guys mounted a coyote for Charlie Masack. He bought that coyote from me in Kansas. I didn’t skin it for taxidermy although it did have the feet on all fours. Even though it wasn’t skinned for taxidermy you guys did a great job on the mount. He has it on his trapping show as his mascot spot. Every time I see it I love it. Thanks for a great job mounting it.

Could you please post the link to the video you referenced with Top Lot Stretcher demoing that no turn fur stretcher system?

On opossum and skunks should the wire stretchers be more slightly curved on top ??
@HoosierTrapperSupply8 ай бұрын
doesn't have to be. we use a #4 wire stretcher (bent in a little, so not so wide) for skunks on opossum

1- Fischer - fur in or out for sales? Assuming Fischer are to be on wood stretchers 2- Does it matter if fur is in or out on any animal if keeping for yourself and sending to a tannery? Thanks guys

Fisher - fur out. If you are sending to a tannery, you don't have to turn fur side out
