Lisa is also my bias. Maybe my ULTIMATE female bias. Even from when they were rookies, you could just tell that she had something special. She just draws you in. And it's not that her visuals are particular outstanding or her skills are so out of this world - more like her spirit is just so aspirational. She is not just an idol - she's a muse. Her resilience and her story is what resonates and lingers with so many people. Her performance draws you in but its her work ethic and her joy that makes you a fan. She came to Korea not knowing how to speak Korean. She consistently gets the weirdest outfits in the group and gets hate for being the "non-Korean" member of a KPOP group. But, I hate that Lisa isn't being allowed to ride on the momentum of her solo debut. While I cannot claim to understand her agency's motivation. Their actions (past and present) are clearly suspect! From where I'm standing, it looks like they are deliberately keeping her back while the other members are free to do so much more.
