I am currently interested in this model, but I am also kind of considering the 70mai A810 4K model. I may not need the ADAS feature in 70mai A810, but the 24-hour live monitoring kind of a deal breaker for me. I could not find any details of 24-hour live monitoring for this model. Thus, I am assuming it does not have such a feature?

Any dash cam you purchase with a hardware kit that connects directly to your car’s fuse box will be able to support recording while the vehicle is switched off. This of course drains the battery. In most cases, overnight recording won’t drain out the car battery, but to be completely safe, most people who wish to have this feature will install a standalone battery pack. This applies to all dash cams, including the 70mai and Trapo T-550. That said, Trapo’s hardware kit has a built in battery protector that will record while the car is switched off, until in senses that your car battery is almost depleted, upon which it will stop recording, so that your car battery doesn’t completely drain out. Can I used back the old cable as plug n play for the front & rear camera?

It depends. There are a few different types of power cables that dashcams in the industry use. So if it’s the same, you can probably reuse.

idk man, the 4K quality from Trapo T-550 looks very bad. lets put it side by side with the 70mai A800 and compare how the 4K looks for both dashcams

Hi, during the installation, is the cigarette 12v socket required to power the camera? i saw it in another video, kzbin.info/www/bejne/rYi4gp-ljaejiNkfeature=shared

If you’re installing it out of the box and without wiring it to the main battery then yes - you need the 12v socket to power it. But if you install properly at the installer then they will wire it to the car battery directly. In which case you won’t need the 12v socket
