funfact! the manus believer in one of the first few chapters that talk about how much he hates math and loves art is an actual character! his name is diggers and he appears in the 1.1 story! he canonically joins the manus off-screen and thus has a skin of him in a manus outfit ❤

not having a playable 5* Sophia /210 is the biggest crime in chapter 5 since the eating of beans 🫘 Sophia is my fav char on the island and not only because she has red hair ^^ 4:43:15 The other person would be Sophia who threw her number into the sea Yes. Sophia and her dad arrived on the island and aren’t native. Reason why both don’t have a number Yes Adler and Greta Hoffman are siblings and German. Adler nickname Enigma is interesting as it was the name of the German cipher machine The word is borrowed from Greece word ainigma (conundrum).

SILO PLAYING CHAPTER 5 LET'S GO!!! Thank you once again for continuing to play this game and give us Timekeepers some more content. Also Silo if you feel like you might not be able catch up to Ch 7 and don't want to miss some of the more missable stuff. I recommend checking out Lucy's character story Flying to the Past. The reason I'm recommending this, cause Lucy's character story has like zero main story spoilers. (Other Timekeepers please correct me if I somehow miss some form of spoiler in that character story) Instead it's more focus on a part of Lucy's life before the events of the game. Anyways thank you Silo for continuing to play this game. Can't wait to see your livestream of Ch 6 and maybe I'll get to stay awake while watching it live.

You finally met 6! Also if you don't want to agonize over the battle segments, you could always fight in breezy mode. It requires no energy and the enemies have very smol HP so you won't be having a hard time. I think it also improves your immersion with the story.

Hi Silo, I noticed you are not using Windsong the way she is meant to be played to get the most damage from her ult. She needs a lot of prep but if played right, the amount of damage she does with her ult is ridiculous. This pays off especially well when fighting against bosses like the Gorgon. I’d suggest you search for a quick guide for her, but basically, every turn you only have to use her practicability card (the one that looks like an iceberg) and save the more copies you can of “Rehabilitation” which is her other attack card. I repeat, don’t use these cards, that way, when you use her ultimate she will automatically fire all the Rehabilitation cards in your hand, doing amazing numbers. The goal should be to upgrade Rehabilitation cards to 2 or 3 stars before using the ultimate to see Windsong's true and mighty power!

You might want to watch 6's sidestory from the 1.4 event on your own. Pretty much everything is explained later but it might help to see his story quest before that, to understand his motivations a bit better. Not required reading but probably worth it as a 6 fan.

re: the Narrators (both Grandpa and Grandma) From what I understand, they seem to be like some sort of omniscient POV that gives more context or worldbuilding to whatever's happening. At the point of the story you're in, I don't think there's a proper explanation yet of who they're supposed to be. A lot of what they're saying makes so much sense after you have played through the entire story and some of the dialogues have some contexts that go beyond the chapters that they're in (I hope this isn't spoilery). For instance, it was in a conversation with Grandpa that we found out that Schneider has 11 sisters and that she's an adopted child. It's also from Grandpa that we found out that Madame Z is from the East and that she used to wear pigtails.

Commenting this while I'm around 1 hr 40 mins mark, if you feel that the fights are getting too difficult, the anniversary update introduced an easier difficulty called breezy mode. It has less rewards but doesn't require energy (cellular activity) and would be ideal if you just want to enjoy the story. Also some aspects to remember from the early parts of the chapter: Vertin came to the island to look for clues of Urd the biographer, and that beans are beans.

I think Silo should be fine doing the content on story aka normal difficulty. Most of their characters are at I2 Level 50, so if Silo can get to I3 for most of their characters, they should be able to do both chapter 6 and 7, albeit while keeping some challenge.

Plus, 37's comment on them not being able to find someone to fix the IDM after the storm was interesting because it seems that Sophia knows how computers/technology works in general since she listed a reminder to herself to get a generator component in her notebook. To me it suggests that Sophia just didn't want to fix the IDM because it was the last thing remaining of her father and wouldn't have wanted to risk breaking something.
