LOL, our family has a joke that we always get trapped and Pixar Pier because all the rides are so close together and it's tempting to keep going down the line, and we get stuck there multiple times on our trips! I also can't convince my family to do the swinging Gondolas!

This was filmed last two weeks ago (I just got around to posting it), but I do hope to get back to DCA soon! We are going to try to go Sunday but we don’t currently have reservations. So it’ll depend on whether some folks ditch theirs throughout the day tomorrow (the most likely time for us to grab some).

I like Pixar Pier. Never tried any of the food. But have had the lemon slushy ice cream thing. It was good. Really want to try num num cookie. And I love Toy Story Mania.

I have never been able to figure out character schedules. And in doing research, nobody else seems to be able to guarantee it either. I do frequently see characters around. It’s very rare that you wouldn’t see any at all over the course of like half an hour. But I couldn’t tell you exactly which ones you’d see when.

Both are great places to go for rope drop. Though I find Cars Land to be a slightly lower priority (the two smaller rides don’t usually got above 30 minute waits, they can, but not usually)

You missed a lot of secrets when it comes to this video. 1. Jessie's Critter Carousel used to be King Triton's Carousel of the Sea 2. Incredicoaster used to be California Screamin' 3. Pixar pier as a whole used to be Paradise Pier along with Paradise Gardens Park.

Other than that, nice video. I have a question for you. Why do you always put clips of the rides you go on instead of the full POVs in your videos where you get trapped in many lands in Disneyland and DCA?

Primarily because full POVs exist elsewhere and people have short attention spans. I used to put full ride POVs in my videos, but I've found I get better view duration (less people abandoning the video) if I keep those segments to under 20-30 seconds.

Hello from MT! Love watching your videos. My son and I are bringing his 6 y/o daughter to Disneyland in June for the first time! He was 6 the first time I brought him! We are super excited to share what we love with her. I’m a San Diego native so it’s always been a big part of our vacations when traveling to SD to visit my family. There are so many questions I have even though I’ve been there many times. First, I saw one video where you gave maps away to the first 5 to comment. I realize I’m late for that but can we still get one from you?? We are staying at the resort. What time is early entry? I am trying to be smart and plan ahead like you say. Is it smart to pick a land and try to get all those ride in so we don’t walk from land to land for the rides? That’s just the tip of the iceberg for now. TIA!!

Yes. I still have some. Feel free to email me your address at [e-mail] Early entry is 7:30 AM and gates open at 7:20 AM to allow guests into the park. We usually chase the low waits times all across the park, but if you want to go land by land, that’s a valid strategy too. Whatever works best for your situation.
