TRAPPED On A Cruise Ship Due To A Hurricane! My Friends Went Crazy

As much as we make light out of this situation we did have moments off camera where it was hard for us to have a good time knowing that people were in harms way. At this time we didn’t know ourselves how long we would be on the ship. Luckily my friends and family are safe and hopefully anyone affected by the hurricane will come out okay. I shared more of my thoughts real time through instagram. But these hurricanes have been devastating recently and it saddens me to see all the damage it's caused. My prayers go to everyone :)

Glad Yoda got moved to safety!! That Island is basically a true Island - no frills just beauty. The other ones you've been to have been built up more plus beauty. still pretty nice!! I guess if you're going to get stuck getting stuck with friends is the best way.

So funny, when you are young, you can party late and get up early, feeling not great but survivable but when you get to be my age, upper 60's, not so much. You learn to stay off the sauce and be in bed by 6:30ish. Enjoy but be smart. Never take your eyes off of your drinks/beverages. Uber can be a life saver! Blessings and safe travels!

a cruise ship is the safest place to be during a hurricane lol, cruise ships can easily sail away from a hurricane, on land you're stuck.

You should try a Yacht Club cruise on the MSC Seashore sometime and compare. It is like a completely different cruise. Even the elevators prioritize you. Compared to other similar levels on other cruise lines it is much cheaper.

I & a friend cruised on an MSC ship a few years ago in the Caribbean and it wasn't the best. BUT, I'd rather be on that ship than 'stuck' in Florida during a Hurricane going through the neighborhood. Thanks JoJo for taking us along on that beautiful ship and showing the good and not so good portions of it. A Floating Resort, that's what these huge ships are nowadays; everything a person needs is onboard to make them comfortable. Just a thought: Princess ships have "The Sanctuary" an adult only QUIET area for reading, relaxing, bar drinks, pampering, hot tubbing, etc. Usually on top deck up front. Does this MSC have anything like that? To your contentment

I watched your "Three Stooges" short film about 'out of underwear' ~ Kevin's cat ~ JoJo's wanting to go home . . . whoa Nelly! Looking at the 'bigger picture' most people would love more time on a cruise ship at no extra cost, UNLESS they have a flight booked on the same or next day when the ship was supposed to return, or a JOB! 'Running out of clothes:' Some ships have guest laundry rooms with washers & dryers for your use (minimal charge) and your clothes problem is over. Kevin's cat: He should have set up a 'sitter' before leaving on this voyage; make a call, send a text or email to the friend helping out. I get the 'wanting to go home' because the parking structure will probably charge the FULL TIME for parking! I think the "My liver can't take it anymore" was tongue-in-cheek however if not, STOP DRINKING ALCOHOL!!!! Finally, start doing things on your own; separate yourselves with your own thoughts and ideas for a day. You'll get it.
