This friendship bond is tied together and can never be broken. It was so emotional to watch this . I was so scared when the other guy went up the beach to wash his face and sat there. I was thinking about salt Crocs. I was like Noooo.....keep going for help. I figured those two guys he met at beach must have wrote on the sand unless he did himself. WOW !!

When the Dutch friend goes for help, this Actor has already portrayed that his character may not, be the most physically co ordinated hiker: further into this story- he hurries so frantically- that he slides down steep parts so fast and has no time to watch out for trees, which he hits head first on way down! This Actor does it so well- it is impossible to stifle laughter! I laughed so hard and loud. That does’nt mean I am hard, of heart. I want both to make it which of course they have.

Something that really stuck in my head as very interesting, was when Geert said that when he first grabbed onto the boulder, he could feel the negative energy from it, and it was as if it was almost pushing back at him.

Talk about sheer will power, resilience, strength, care, motivation and humanity. This story had everything. Geer is an absolute blessing for warren and Warren is an absolute tank of a human being. This one is my favourite out of this whole series, the length he went to save a stranger. Just powerful and amazing!

Great story, I’ve travelled and hiked around that area of Queensland north of Cairns, I can’t imagine how frightening that situation must of felt it’s very remote there, thank god his friend was so resilient in being able to get back and find help. The victims fitness must of been a factor in his survival, it’s sad that he lost his legs but amazing that he managed to survive at all, quite incredible. Well done to everyone involved in the rescue. What a great guy his hiking buddy was, I hope he doesn’t feel bad as he done an amazing thing in bringing rescue, you can only hope that you’re with someones as loyal and determined as him, what a great bloke, kudos to him 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I reside at a place called Cairns, Australia. It is located approx. 2.5 hours North of Cardwell, which is where Hinchinbrook island sits off the coast (location where these 2 men were hiking). What is not mentioned in this story is that the island is surrounded by large crocodiles and sharks. The island itself is home to large pythons (5 to 6 metres long) which makes it even more amazing. A true hero to a total stranger who went to the aid of another man he only just met. 'Hero' doesn't seem a big enough description. Words fail me.

I have only watched 3 episodes of this series and i find myself sharing their fears, anxiety, despair as well as the inspiration, positivety, humanity! These men showed great character, integrity and heart! It shines bright with these 2 men! I agree with the brave and wonderful doctor who came to help...if Warren would have been completely mortal he wouldn't have survived this and although i know it broke his friends' heart to hear his lost his legs...he survived! (I don't mean to make light of his loss as i have my legs but I'm so grateful he lived!) The actors are excellent and this show is put together by very talented people!

📍I expected Warren, to thank his ‘friend ‘ he just met that saved his life. 😐 He may have kept himself calm while the rock was on top of him. ⛰ But he wouldn’t have lasted much longer. 🏆 If it was Not for this heroic ‘stranger’ who risked his own life to save another human being. He would have have died!! 🗣 At least give him a shout out & say thanks!?⁉️ 🥺The other guy was much more passionate about what he said about ‘warren’ . Anyway.. thank you for the upload. 🤩 😷Stay safe everyone. 🎬 The actors really do a great job! 👍🧩💗✨🕊☮️

Boruch Wolf 📍 Hey, ya that is an idea i did not think of. What I don’t get is the man who barley knew him Was very passionate about the way he spoke of Warren and everything he did to save this man’s life. I assumed Warren would say something about him. If he did and they edited it out then it’s this films fault because that’s BS. !!! That makes Warren look like an asshole! They could’ve put a snippet in there were he Thanks him.. but no. So whatever the case may be, the editors or Warren still did not put a thank you in there for the man that saved his life. 😐 idk

You have no idea what these men have shared in private! They're close friends to this day, I'm sure he's thanked him countless times. Just because you didn't see it in the last five minutes of a tv show doesn't mean he hasn't thanked him

So unfortunate to have gone through such an ordeal just to take a leak, he could have done it nearby. Didn't have to climb blindly in the dark. But, it's incredible to see most of mankind still has that kind of compassion to a stranger, some would just easily murder a family.
