Whoa man this was insane you nailed very single note! I like how you casualy fix your hair 20 times through this song. One of the most underrated Metallica songs, but always one of my favorites. I We tried to cover it when we were kids but we butchered it really bad haha its nice to see that some people are still into playing the old stuff. Keep up the good work. I used a Lee Jackson Ampeg with my pedal board miked up in another room, played it while I listened to the song, and recorded into protools then mixed it with the original, (though I probably should have mixed my guitar louder as I seem to get a lot of complaints about that.) For the solos I step on an eq to make it louder and to add more mids with a boss dd2 delay for wetness. The amp settings are probably pre up to about 8-9, gain to about 6, lows to about 6-7, mids to about 4-5, highs to about 6-7 (but the amp goes to 12 on all the dials if any of that makes sense...thank you.

Yeah some of these ride the lightning vids I can turn up more for sure, I am louder in other vids.but when I play it really well it is hard to hear any difference...I was once in a horrible tribute band called blackened, lol thank you for the constructive criticism, and for watching.

This is what annoys me with any newer Metallica. The songs are pretty decent because it's paying homage to the old style but bringing it into modern recording, etc. But his solos are pretty bad tbh. It's pretty frustrating because we know Kirk can play. His rhythm and lead chops are pretty good and can double James just fine with all the riffs. But yea live and in the studio these days with the leads, not as good as before. We know using the wah is his thing and it's part of the Metallica sound. But how can he do so many clever licks in his solo EP but then do a whole bunch of recycled licks all over Metallica records. Idk it's just annoying if anything.
