For context the game is played, as we know, from the perspective of a toddler, and the story is one of a mother who falls into depression and the "monster" you are running from throughout the game is your mother, who fell into drinking and it's likely that it's some sort of child abuse when she catches you, and the father is just trying to help you. The playhouse is kind of like the kids safe place from the mother.

I've played this game many times and in the ending the bottles represents her alcoholism and her use of dr@gs which was lead by the divorce of the parents all of that leads to the child abuse and the dad sends the toddler a therapy bear to help with the child possible trauma

And I think it’s based on real events that have happened which makes the game very unique in a way like the mother being guilty and the dad being the one giving the bear to the kid and like the fathers warm within the teddy bear Then we get closure at the end but I wish they made a sequel dlc to this because it’s a great game

A few things in case you play the prologue; -You'll trip if you sprint too much -Crawling is faster than walking, and slightly slower than sprinting -There's a museum that explains a bunch of stuff about the story of the game -Take your time, you might end up missing a ton of stuff Im so happy you finally played this game!
