Heck yeah J back out there getting it done. I started a small line yesterday, had the first Coyote of the season dancing this morning. I like your Bobcat sets. I'm gonna try using your Bobcat set method when I get a chance to set more traps. We have had a drout here for a while. I put sets in and it rains all Last night 🌙 😆 Thanks for sharing 👍

How do I find regulations for Wisconsin trapping season to trap legally? The DNR website kind of sucks. I just want to do dog proofs for possom and racoon around our property to protect chickens. I know I need a trapping license and fur license.

@@sarahwolfe1154 I believe if you owne the property you can can leagaly trap! But go to Go Wild Wisconsin DNR and look up regulations. I believe trapping is under hunting regs.

Hey J I herd that Missouri extended the trapping season?? Is that the same for Iowa or not?? I haven’t herd anything about Iowa???? Oh and don’t feel bad for not getting a bunch of sets out on the opening day!!! Heck I usually do exactly the same thing!!! I usually will set a goal for opening day on how many I would like to get out on opening day and if I even got half what I was working for I’m just happy for that and then I will just set like anywhere from 5 to 10 more every day to help extend my line!!! That usually works for me!!!!

Started trapping a couple years ago definitely not a expert but since the 1st of January I’ve caught 8 possums, 3 coons and one coyote. Not a lot to brag about but if every turkey hunter trapped that many egg eaters I believe that their population numbers would rise in a year or two.
