That’s so cool! I caught my first fox over the weekend on a property with a ton of cameras too, and there has never been pics of one there either. Here in MI the coyotes give fox the business for sure.

The second coyote that was hip caught. Is that a sign that your loop was too big or is that something that happens occasionally? I am just curious and trying to gather information from multiple sources. One of those sources is someone who I work with that traps Indiana where I live and of course you are another one. I don't know that I will ever try trapping on a level that either of you do but it is good information for handling issues on mine and friends property. Wow,a 30lb bobcat or more i would guess from what i see. 35lb would not surprize me. Thats as big as the 1 i saw in my back yard 4 winters ago during a thaw. I get feral cats that big. I have 1 male feral now (Christopher) close to that size at 1 3/4 yrs old. Sounds the same too if you spook him. He is pettable for me,(white booted long haired tiger) was in the house last night with me for a while. Oh he is wild,respect & care is needed,but its almost like having a bobcat friend. Good job!

Great video as usual. Little cringy with the fox tho. I get it, it’s a legal harvest. But myself I like to be a better manager than my states laws. When fishing, I release rare fish, when hunting or trapping, I use it as a management tool. I’d have let the fox go if they were that rare in my neck of the woods.
