I'm jealous, don't have bamboo in my area and that turned out so well. The best grass.
@CavemanCody4 жыл бұрын
It doesnt grow wild here. If you see it, most likely it was planted by someone who didnt realize how fast It would grow. I have a pile of cut bamboo in my barn. A lot of people around here will let you cut bamboo off their property by the truck load and haul it off for free.

I prefer the mechanic tension with a stiffer stick and use a trip wire connected to an L7 in a ground post, which then leads to another L7 tensioned to the spear itself.

A convenient thing about animals: They can't read. ...For any type of trap being legally set, if the circumstances allow, one could put a big warning sign up to help avoid tragedy.

Although i understand the Idea but your material was weak not that much elasticity and hardness there cannot cause any harm, not with a weak bamboo, not with ineffective ropes must work with slight contact, no speed, a thorn cannot harm a though wild animal

Jesus Cody, you made me nervous as hell with your dog so close to that tripwire. Nice video but please be careful dude,

He wasnt as close as it looked on camera. The lens I use makes the foreground seem closer to the background if the angle is right.

It looked like your dog was free to roam about while you had the trap set. Would really ruin your day to trap your own dog.

Something I noticed and found odd. The stick used to first set the trap off is not the same as the one in slomo. Notice there is multi in the first and single in slomo. One in slomo looks a little rotten as well. At this point I question the overall power of this trap using bamboo. I still love the video. Best way for me to see first hand is to test this with different wood. This design is quite badass from what I see so far.

I was thinking Rambo couldn't have done all that in backwoods of Jerkwater USA w his limited time being tracked. Also, I obtained a solid ESEE 6 survival knife and was practice carving some pine wood slivers, much more solid spears, I wonder about how solid the limb and the spikes should be ideally

I'm sure he knew it. Those are way too dangerous to do, specially it's only a video demonstration that'll he dismantle later and he's all alone in woods without any nearby help if he gets injured. But, you get the idea.
@scotloggan1885 Жыл бұрын
@inisipisTV I didn't want it to sound like a insult. It's hard at times to tell by texts how a person is feeling. There's another person on Y.T. I think he's still on here. He's Green Barrett also. He used 3in. saplings and made one. We were taught... if you practice slopy... when it to reality... you'll fight slopy. Again... I'm not trying to insult. Y.T. is a educational & entertaining channel.. Thank you Sir for commenting.

Highly innacurate for most situations but idk your environment. A well trained shooter with a 9mm handgun is all you need. Fight to the truck gun if needed and that's your AR.

Yeah folks it’s much safer to use a vertical one with three spikes in between two trees that you use bushes as funneling material, use twin wraps of 550 cord and set it up about two feet above head height that way when sprung you have the bend of the stick, the cranked rope, and gravity the trap comes directly down impaling the face , chest , and neck, and if you feeling really vindictive you add a couple hammer heads for weight and adjust the angle so it comes straight down on the skull or shoulders that way if it doesn’t kill it breaks the collar bone or neck a lot you can do, and the human eye line in the woods very rarely looks up naturally especially if they are being “Funneled” they will be looking forwards and down to avoid tripping, never see the one coming from above.
