Add an empty water bottle on a string to the black traps. The floating bottle will indicate where your trap is. It allows you to use them in deeper water.

Great video! Glad you have a place to stay. You should really invest in some sort of pad or matin order to dump your nets on, so you're not having to pick fish or other critters out of grass or on hard hot pavement. It would definitely make it easier to see the fish. ❤😊

When I was growing up in Florida, I’d find all kinds of invasive species. One of the most memorable though was when I found neon tetras in a lake behind my house, I caught dozens of them and put them in an aquarium. Florida really is a crazy place where anything goes lol

I hope you are able to find a permanent place to live soon. Finding good accommodations in Florida is tough, I know. lived there for 15 years in the early 70's till late 80's. I had so much fun back then! Wishing now, at my age, I could retire there, but it's just way to expensive for me. Our NY winters are no fun at all! @@RobsAquatics you should do a 24 hrs in the everglades catching fish video, maybe a collab with Bobbie. Tent, throw out like 10 fish traps and then cast net and net during the day, and even rod fishing. have a tent netting and fishing all day, fish traps for 24 hrs, bbq and sleep in tent at night or do some night fishing with light and rod. then wake up to a bacon and egg with coffee breakfast you make, fishing rod till 24 hrs is up at noon, bbq lunch, check fish traps and go home. would be a nice video. or you can do it solo.

Go for some coryadoras or some loaches. If you can't get that, net for salmon. I know they don't live in Florida, but at least they're good to eat. Also, see if you can catch a turtle just for the fun of it. Then let it go. A manatee would also be fun. Then see if you can push hard enough to get it crammed into the aquarium. If you can't, try keeping it in one of the traps. Or cut it up and put it in all of the traps, with some left over for the bed of the truck. Better yet, don't. Manatees are kinda cute and deserve to swim free and whole.

I don’t get why you’re lacking on finding a place to live. That would be my first priority because every dime you spend on those temporary places is just a waste.
