You are absolutely right, and what people seem to forget is that their latest album was not only a chart-topper the week it entered in, but the singles "Still Frame", "Echo", and "Stand Up" all were within the top 20 on many, many rock and mainstream charts. In fact, besides "Headstrong", "Still Frame" was their other song that stayed at #1 for awhile... but people tend to just collectively "forget", and that pisses me off.

Great Album. Echo is amazing but I tend to gravitate to less mainstream songs on this particular album. Made of Glass, Stories, New Beginning those 3 are hard for me to decide the best Trapt song. 1A, 1B, 1C along with Contagious 1D.

That's a great way of putting it, and to be honest I pretty much agree! I think Still Frame is my fave ever by them... but on this album I do gravitate towards songs like The Game and When All is Said and Done, as well as Stories. Seeing Stories live was awesome.

Ormandy can't be replaced, because of his speed and skills on playing the guitar with heavy and hearty riffs. However, Robb Torres, the new guitarist, is a great young fit for the band with just as good, if not better, skills at playing... and his heart is completely there. Simon lost the heart to play over time...

Technically the 3rd album was their "Live!" album, that had 2 hard rockin' singles on it..the "4th" album, Only Through the Pain, was JUST released August 5th, 2008..so like they haven't even begun writing their new album yet, in fact they're still touring for OTTP..OTTP is a GREAT album, but you have to listen to each song about 5 times before they all start getting etched in to your mind and you start loving them. Wasteland, Curiosity Kills, Cover Up, and Black Rose are the best off that album

Yeah I've met the guys about 4 or 5 times and hung out with them for hours before and after shows, they're great guys. I see them next month on the 1st here... but as far as I know the guys are catholic or catholic christian, but not so sure it really influences their music such as say Creed's religion influenced their music..

OTTP = Only Through The Pain... but Curiosity Kills is the best song off the album... it's their closest sound to "Headstrong"... trust me, it's been rated the best song on the album... Cover Up is aswell. You gotta remember this is the first full new album on a new label as well. When they were on Warner Records, they were VERY limited with the shit they could do. This lets them experiment, which is actually better! "Who's Going Home With You Tonight?" did EXCELLENT on the charts so far.

lol wish i saw Trapt 5 times but i dont think they tour in Louisiana, and i see now, yea i dont think it influenced their music either, i havent noticed anything in their lyrics like Creed and Linkin Park (and believe it or not, Linkin Park's songs as said by Mike Shinoda himself, some of them are influenced by faith) but thanks for telling me this cuz it disproves that Trapt has a myspace, it said they were not sure of their orientation adn it said they were buddhists!! i was like wtf man!?

lol yea Headstrong i think was their biggest but Still Frame and Echo had a pretty damn close run, plus Stand Up was a great one too, and i think Waiting was alittle popular as well, and if those Trapt haters hate how hard they rock and they call themselves rockers, they deserve a good case of ass woopin lol

Lol yeah... well Robb is a great guy, I've met him personally too. Simon is kinda big-headed. When Simon left, I was a little upset... but it's obvious he wasn't really for Trapt. I mean the riff's coming from his guitar were excellent, but his heart wasn't fully in them just because they had creative differences and he was a bit ego-high.
