Hey, it's ya boy. Resident bird up player in the feature. So in case anyone was wondering why my opponent scooped game 1: The life points weren't accurate in this video. Recital starling says whenever I take battle damage from battles involving it, my opponent takes it too. Which is why I attacked into the holetea my turn 1 and then Zues my turn 2. So my opponent was down to 2600LPs while also staring at a 5 material nightingale that can't be targeted and I was gonna just attack directly for game the following turn

@@dazais5689 swallow gives nightingale the effect that on summon, attach a lyrilusc monster from grave to itself. And I made it with 4 materials initially

In game 1, what is meant by on summon priority? In this case when Zeus is summoned, wouldn’t effects that contain a trigger be put on the chain prior to the turn player being able to use fast effects?

So on summon of Zues, if the turn player has any quick effects they wants to use in that window before their opponent does, they can declare turn player priority and use that quick effect as cl1 before his opponent can respond. But then if the opponent has any quick effects or trigger effects, they can use them here as cl2

Because Zeus is a quick effect it can activate at any point after the turn player passes priority as chain link 2. So even though it got floodgated at chain link 1 by the turn player it could still activate in response. Turn player priority gives priority to the turn player for the first action of the turn in an open game state. It’s a neat ruling to know 😅

Do note that floodgate trap hole is not considered a trigger effect, but a quick effect. So it would be possible for Zeus to activate its effects as chain link 1, since the controller of Zeus is the turn player. However, in this scenario it doesn't really change anything.

In game 1, the traptrix player took a trap back with dionaea but forgot to set another one from the deck thx to sera. Btw he chose time space trap hole while floodgate th would have been way more useful since face down lyrilusc cant do nothing. It would also prevent swallow from summoning itself. In that case, the opponent could just have summon beryl canari. Which means floodgate traphole + grave digger traphole pretty much ends the bird combos.. and again he chose only space time traphole instead of these two. Also too bad he didnt know that cobalt sparrow protected recital starling from being targeted, he should have use floodgate traphole way before

The second match, When the person use Cosmic cyclone. Traptrix Arachnocampa effect say will not be destroy Spell/Trap card, correct? But it did not say something about banishing* cards, it wasn’t destroying it, it was just banishing the spell or trap card. Because there’s two; destroying the card is going to the graveyard. Banishing it is another thing. Time video 15:20
