Thanks for taking me back there. My late wife and I used to frequent the Traquair Fair fifteen years back. we couldn't park in the campsites because of our dogs, but the Lady of the house kindly let us park the caravan inside the Fair. We paid half price for a small stall selling my wife's homemade 'trolls' and it was cheaper than the entrance fee. I took one of the dogs on a walk around the gardens, but never realised there was a maze. ATB Karl from Denmark

@@karlejnarch thank you Karl. I’ve never been to the fair. It’s certainly more than 15 years since my last visit. Thanks for watching. 👍

Another lovely vidio, I like all of your content, however when you include historical content it is even better , you have a good voice for presenting the interesting facts. More history please

What a beautiful video and place to visit, will be on my list for sure. I have stayed at a lovely B&B once when I was there many moons ago. Awhh I was oops 🙊 too when Brora got a fright. Hope you haven’t had too much bad weather with Bert 😮, it’s been quite good here although last week had about 7” of snow and 11deg tomorrow, crazy 🤪 😂. Have a good weekend Linda. 😊

Looks like Traquair now has 3 places for overnight self contained camper vans. Bit expensive at £25 a night with no services.

@@DougieAB I didn’t know that. I parked up in the forestry land Scotland stay the night 7stanes car park for £7 last time I stayed there. Think it’s only available April to October though. Thanks for watching. 👍

@LindaOutdoors We used to park up at the rear of the Innerleithen trails car park as part of the Stay The Night scheme but Forrestry Scotland has removed this location so no overnight parking. I was told it would be reviewed as is the whole Stay The Night scheme for 2025. Let's hope it continues. 🚐
