I got stuck in La ceiba for a few weeks because of trouble with my Mastercard. I survived because of the wonderful people there. Lived in the hostel and ate on credit. It was an adventure.

Hidden Gem! I've been there a dozen times. It's wonderful. Stay at the Lodge at Pico Bonito. Beautiful resort, exotic flowers and wildlife. Satuye beach is sparkling white sand on the Caribbean ocean and you will probably be the only person there. Rio Cangrejal has world class white water rafting. Most everyone speaks Spanish so bring your app. Lots of shops downtown and even a big mall and movie theatre. There's Applebees, Wendy's, Pizza hut and tourism potential. Don't believe the hype. Ive never found it to be dangerous and have been going there since 2005.

Hi! I’m from Minnesota. I’m interested in traveling to Honduras. Do you have a favorite city in Honduras you would live in longterm for 1 year? Do you like Honduras the food, beaches, and Mountains?.
@LittleshamelessViking Жыл бұрын
Hi Christopher! Cool! Honduras is a great destination and has lots of awesome places to see. If I needed to stay in longterm, I'd choose to stay either at Utila or Roatan. In mainland I also enjoyed San Pedro Sula but some may not find it safe enough for living. Food is great, baleadas are amazing. Beach in La Ceiba is not very clean but at Bay Islands, very clean. My favorite destination in Honduras is definitely lake Yojoa and that I would recommend to anyone who visits Honduras. I have published videos from lake Yojoa and San Pedro Sula if you're interested. Safe travels!

I am from Honduras search for Copán Ruins for Mayan Ruins, Roatán and Utila for beaches, La Ceiba for ecotourism. Comayagua and Gracias for colonial cities. The 2 most important cities are Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula. Everything depends what you like to do.

Sometimes it's challenging to explain where Finland is located if people have never heard of countries like Germany, France or Russia. Often Finland is mixed with England, Philippines or Philadelphia
