Chat kept saying "He dissin' himself" I mean yeah he is, but it's WAY deeper than that. This is the SCARY shit that ran through his head all time and through the heads of a lot of us who have been to these dark depths in our hearts and our minds. It's legit terrifying to be there and there've been times when I thought about making videos illustrating these thoughts as short horror films. It's horrifying what kind of thoughts go through the human mind especially one that is in a state of extreme self-deprecation and loss of hope. It's even more horrifying to expose these thoughts and feelings to others. I love this song for that reason. I heard it at a time when I was struggling with these same thoughts. I hated where my life ended up and I felt like I was destined for failure. Add in a bottle of whiskey and one thing to set you off and that's when self-harm happens without you even realizing it's happening. So, I say all that to say that I love this song and it holds a spot in my head rent-free forever.
