I think there is a line between intriguing/ hard-reality slapping truth, and clickbait. Did he actually rap about his perspective of how, if in another life he was black, how would that affect him? Yes, he talked about that. If it was clickbait, I have no idea why youtube would've withheld it for a bit. With this song, again, not clickbait, he specifically referred to the culture of it all, which I feel like a lot of people would agree and say it is a messed up culture. In most raps, most people don't listen to the song for the choruses, or hooks, it's the bars, wordplay, rhyme-schemes/meters, etc. I think Tom brings an incredible fusion to the table with his hooks and choruses, (which is almost a juxaposition in general to how hip-hop is sonically) but that's a bonus, his bars are what carry everything. Music production wise- he even trolls people with that too, the autotune line had autotune on it to poke fun at other people and himself. I think that what Tom is doing, with spreading truth, in a 'IDGAF' way is phenomenal and so needed.
