The song is actually even deep straight from the name. It's about his dads struggle with addiction and the name "oxygen" is to signify oxy, the drug his dad was addicted to, and "gen" (gin) which was his dads drink of choice when he switched to drinking

Oxygin is by far my favorite song on the album, definetly a pass, loved the reaction. So I dont do this self advertisement think much and it's only temporary, I've got a new song coming out which I've been working on for months, its far better than anything I've released so far. He said at his concert for the Nevers Roads tour I was at that his car accident was a definite turning point for him that inspired his albums. Also if you pay attention to the songs on this album it's also a tribute to his dad. For instance Reaper taking the voice of his dad's cancer, Oxygin talking about his dad's struggles with addiction.
