Trash Polka Tattoo Design Practice - Portfolio Work

Been working on my portfolio to take to tattoo shops and gave Trash Polka a try. I didn't get the entire thing recorded but this is mostly near the end when I finished the splash of red which now looks like blood since the attacks on Paris in November 2015.
I should note she was not done freehand. The splash and the paris skyline are. In my weekly sketch videos those are all freehand.

In this one I was using black ink for the woman figure and then watercolors for the blood splash, both just using different brushes.

Very nice. I have some recommendations though. Make darks more dark. Also try to make some lines chaotic, that's the whole point of trash polka, chaos and harmony at the same time with a lot of contrast and bright blood reds. So instead of the dots on the bottom left, make some chaotic crazy lines coming out almost like spilling of the ink. That's all.
