There was this one Shaman deck where I got "Spells cost 1 less" and went evolve/transformation. Got 4 "Unstable Evolution" and went ham with evolving everything at turn 3-5 infinitely with all of my units on the board.

That Coldarra drake on the evolve boss made me real salty at first but then I remembered these types of effects never work on bosses

2nd card selection (1 Kobold Hermit, 2 Windshear Stormcallers): Windshear Stormcaller was at least a 5 mana 5/5, but the Kobold Hermit would be deceptively good with double battlecry. A 2 mana 1/1 that gives your choice of +2 spellpower, double heal stream, a mirror image effect, or just a flood of 1/1s where you can also mix and match. The +2 spellpower would turn storm into flamestrike. Sounds pretty flexible. I'm not sure if Totems were the best, but they probably shouldn't be discarded just because you can't pull off the combo (though you can get it off in one turn with 9 mana, a single basic totem on board, and Stormcaller + hermit in hand, though your full board would only give you one Al'Akir instead of 2).

fun fact: If you end the game in a draw against the dungeon bosses it will count as a win, but you don't select loot pile. Happened to me against vex(double battle and death) he flooded the board with Abomination and the multiple death rattles killed us both, yet I was able to go on.
