Its SO cool you perticularly did this guitar as i think its Kerrys LAST cool guitar and i loved it in Live Intrusion. I think it went downhill with his tribals on the BC Riches he got later during the Diabolus-era and so forth. Great work!

A lot of people still think the Jackson King was named after Kerry King, which it was not. It was Robbin Crosby's guitar that Grover built for him. Robbin loved the Rhoads but wanted something that was different but still had the same "metal" vibe, so they came up w/ the King. It's called the King cause Robbins nickname was King. By the way this guitar turned out amazing.. one of my favorites you've done so far.. great job. Very inspiring.

My first thought when seeing the rattle cans was "no!!" but looking into it, the clear is a 2k, so this technique is viable. It would be far more cost effective to get an air compressor with spray gun, as opposed to using cans though, over time it would save money if you do enough guitars. I even use the cheap $15-20 purple gun from harbor freight and get excellent results with $75 2k clear (Upol brand) for 1 gallon. So with the can, you're paying ~$120 per gallon. Plus, you could use the compressor for other things potentially. But for the small projects of a guitar, you could easily get away with a 15-20 gallon compressor I think. Just food for thought.

Only a few minutes in but the kk custom made me think about you doing the blue crackle you did last episode but with the bright blue tiger stripes on it so the crackle is on the stripes... That would look amazing!!!

King had the best designs. Wish he had a gallery you could see cuz theres a couple of designs I only saw him use once tht were freekin' SICK AF (i.e. the V he uses in the Witching Hour encore in the Live Intrusion video which I was actually in attendance for. The Mesa Ampitheater in the middle of summer. Fkn bad-ass time tht night!). I own a couple stock KK BC Rich's I wanna hot-rod! The King Rhoad's is a wikkid nice piece of work though for sure!

I don’t know much about rattle cans for paint, but is there a max mill of thickness you need to stop at. I have a cabinet shop and we use special types of lacquer to build thickness. I am amazed at what you do with those cans .
