Thank you very much. It was a bit unnerving to put out a video when I hadn’t yet made the lures work right. You Stay Regular!

if you put a mirror or aluminum foil down then put the uv nail curing light on it, it will reflect the light on bottom of the lure, helps cure all the way around, really nice color scheme btw.

Thank you very much. I figured that out right after I posted this video. I guess great mimes think alike, they just don’t talk about it. You Stay Regular!

Not all my lures have worked either. I made a crankbait that spun spirals as it was retrieved instead of wobbling. I tried shortening the lip and a few other things to no avail. Then I learned the line-tie needed to be out in the lip about a third to half way, instead of being located on the nose of the lure. As long as you've learned something, you have not failed. I believe lipless crankbaits are weighted to be nose heavy. Most of the weight goes forward of the front hook, and a little more weight can be added just behind, but close to the belly hook if needed. A difference in weighting & balancing a Lipless crankbait from other conventional lures is, the weight doesn't have to be as low to the belly as possible. It can be a little higher in the lure body as long as it's still below the centerline. I sure hope you find the solution for you lure, as we're all looking forward to part 2! P.S. Still wondering how someone managed to break a polycarbonate box. Lexan is really tough stuff and can even be cold bent without breaking!

Thank you so much, I did not take into account how dense and negatively buoyant the Lexan was, and I have a few ideas on how to get the results we want. To answer your last question about how it was broken, anything is possible with my regular assistants. But I’m not certain about how they broke it. Their story was very inconsistent, and I have given up on trying to find the truth at this point. You Stay Regular!

What can I say, I’m a lure making enigma wrapped in a riddle. Or I’m just a Regular Guy who is trying to hold onto his anonymity while maintaining a social media presence. Either way, You Stay Regular!
